FAQS
At The Hunter, we strive to provide exceptional service and address any questions you may have. Take a look at some frequently asked questions.
Will it cost me out of pocket to stay at The Hunter?
No! We ensure that your expenses align with your per diem rates, whether it's a Non-A Rate or On-Base Lodging Rate. Rest assured, there are never any out-of-pocket expenses during your stay.
What if I'm already in base housing, can I move into The Hunter?
Absolutely! Many individuals choose to make the transition. Contact us, and we'll gladly assist you. Even if your training program has already started and you're currently staying on base, you can move off base at any time. A non-availability slip is not required because our rates match the on-base lodging rate.
How far is The Hunter from base?
Conveniently located less than 2 miles from base in the closest residential neighborhood to the main gate, The Hunter offers proximity and ease of access to base facilities, Walmart, restaurants, coffee shops, and more!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
At The Hunter, we provide everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. From furniture, linens, utensils, and cleaning supplies to utilities and even your favorite K-Cups. Simply bring your own food, clothes, and toiletries.
Do you offer family crash pad accommodations?
We may accommodate families on a case-by-case basis. If you and your family are interested in staying at The Hunter, please reach out to us for personalized assistance.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! The Hunter is a pet-friendly crash pad. A one-time pet fee is required prior to check-in, which covers a deep cleaning of the space after your departure. Some breed restrictions may apply, and we reserve the right to refuse certain pets.
Will I have to pay out of pocket during official leave?
Unlike on-base lodging and hotels, The Hunter does not charge you for the days you are on Official Leave in December. You can keep your reservation and have peace of mind knowing your belongings are secure while you're away.
What amenities do you offer?
Prepare to be impressed! At The Hunter, we provide an array of amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi (1 Gbps), smart TVs in every room, modern high-end furnishings, in-unit washer and dryer, routine maid service, an air hockey table, a bar area, K-Cups, an HP color printer, a high-end kitchen with stainless steel appliances, luxury memory foam mattresses, smart home technology, and close proximity to base.
